The tungsten micro bugger was inspired by competition fly anglers that used small, heavily weighted streamers to jig across deep pools and pockets. Surprisingly, these flies are incredibly effective when dead drifted or euro-nymphed through runs. The heavy tungsten bead coupled with the simple profile allows this streamer to dive fast and get keep into the feeding zones. The marabou tail sparks movement. This is one of micro streamer we love to use as an anchor fly within our nymphing rigs or jigging across the stream to large trout.
